Korean Cow Horse
Meet Cheongnyong Bisang, the Champion 2-Year-Old Colt of South Korea in 2013 (and winner of the first leg of their Triple Crown in 2014!)..and now an equine resident of the state of South Dakota. How random is that?
I won't lie, I am indeed going to go around saying that Dalarna Farm is the preferred overnight stabling destination for international champion racehorses (who have somehow ended up in the state of South Dakota).
Cheongnyong spent the night here and is now on his way to western South Dakota to become a part of Dale Simanton and Dorothy Snowden's Gate to Great/Horse Creek Thoroughbreds program. He will learn all the skills of becoming a working ranch horse while there...something tells me that he will become the ONLY Korean-bred horse to ever chase a cow in history.
