Meet Mimi, the vagabond pony!
In other news, this little lady made the return trip on the trailer....everyone meet Mimi!
Mimi is the vagabond pony of Hutchinson County. She randomly showed up in my aunt's yard one day last month and never left. Her history is pretty fuzzy but we know she made her way to SD from the East Coast and was the "we don't know what to do with her now" pony before she ran away and found my aunt. She endeared herself quickly and soon had a new home.
What we DO know about Mimi is that somehow, someway, she is the BEST pony ever. She has a nicer mouth than many "well broke" horses I have bridled and is patient, kind and super sweet to every kid she meets. She loves people and unlike the typical wee pony, she runs TOWARDS you instead of away when you go to the pasture.
Since Mimi loves people so much, my aunt decided Mimi might benefit from having a little girl to play with every day and so she made her way to Dalarna Farm this afternoon for a visit. So far, she hasn't taken one bit of guff from Lilly Frost (who usually bullies everyone) and is making herself quite at home. Evie is gone camping with her Aunt Pat today and I CAN'T WAIT for her to see who came to visit when she gets home. smile emoticon
